Hello and welcome to my web site.

Firstly thank you to those of you who have been patiently awaiting your copy of Touch of Cancer.   I am pleased to announce that it has now been republished and is once again fully available on Amazon and all sales outlets.

I was diagnosed in January 2001 with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and was at a very advanced stage (Stage IV). My prognosis without treatment was no more than 2/3 months. With treatment my chances were possibly 50/50. I wrote the book whilst in the middle of combined intensive Mabthera and Interferon treatments, and finished it back in 2005. It’s not a clever book, nor is it particularly well-written, but it was written as it came – from the heart.  I had no idea when I finished it what the outcome was going to be for me; but five years on I am still here. I still have 20% of the cancer in my body, which will always remain there, but my wonderful Medics have it totally under control, and I’m  now much more likely to die from an accident or some other disease than my Lymphoma.

The point in telling you all this is that if you are unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with cancer, please don’t despair. No matter how hopeless the outcome may seem, there is always hope; and never, ever lose that hope.  Keep it burning always.  If you have faith, hold it fast to you, take a positive attitude, and determine to beat it.  It can be beaten, and there are millions who are living proof of that.

I have lost far too many friends and family in the past with this disease, and since diagnosis have met many more people suffering from it.  In the past few years it has appeared to accelerate rapidly, to the extent that I don’t think I know of anyone now who doesn’t have someone amongst their friends or family without it.  But as it has accelerated, so the Medical Profession and Researchers have progressed beyond belief with their treatments and cures. One day they will find a complete cure for it and, although I doubt it will be in my lifetime, they will beat it.  I don’t think that day is too far off.

I am still receiving wonderful feedback to “Touch of Cancer” from both here in the U.K. and the USA, and  understand the book has already helped many people suffering, or coping with someone suffering, from this affliction. I hope it will help many, many more; and if you are someone who is currently living with or around cancer, do please get hold of a copy of the book.  All proceeds are in aid of Cancer Research – and this time there are no Publisher’s Royalties to be paid out of it!

Thank you for coming into my site and reading this, and God Bless you.

Jean.
